This project requires 25% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Subsurface Utility Engineering is required on approximately 40 to 60 projects throughout the district for use on Phase I, II, and/or III projects. Projects or tasks requiring CADD are anticipated to be completed using 3D modeling utilizing the Bentley CONNECT OpenX platform of software products and our current CADD environment in accordance with the latest IDOT Computer Aided Design, Drafting, Modeling and Deliverables (CADD) Manual. The completion date for this contract will be 60 months after authorization to proceed. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Subsurface Utility Engineering) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
