The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and materials to complete the Anne Street Canal Improvements. More specifically, the project will consist of clearing, grubbing, grading, demolition, fence installation, drainage, and erosion control. Each Contractor must prequalify for bid by submitting a completed Statement of Bidder Qualifications form supplied by the Engineer. Bids will be accepted from prequalified bidders only. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of total amount bid for the completed work. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for, and perform all operations in connection with, the installation of the ArmorFlex (R) Articulating Concrete Block (ACB) system in accordance with the lines, grades, design and dimensions shown on the Contract Drawings and as specified herein. The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under this Contract on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner and to fully complete the project within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days thereafter.
