SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INSTALLATION OF A COMPREHENSIVE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM, NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES GREAT LAKES, IL THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking eligible small business firms capable of performing comprehensive building fire protection system maintenance and repair at Naval Station Great Lakes, Great Lakes, IL. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement, a market survey for information to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be used within the Navy to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for purposes and to determine whether to the requirement for small business concerns. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any requested follow-up information. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than . No drawings or specifications will be made available at this time. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this . General Work Requirements: Except where otherwise stated, the Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance, inspection, testing, certification, repair, alteration, demolition, and minor construction for Wet/Dry Chemical & Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Pump Systems, Exterior Propane Systems, Carbon Dioxide Extinguisher Recharge Systems, and High Temperature Exhaust Fans at fire training, operations, and administrative buildings. Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, supervision, material, equipment, and performing all operations in order to execute said requirement. This is a new procurement. The anticipated award of this contract is September 2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of 19 million. If the resulting is set aside for small business firms, it will include FAR clause 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting. If adequate interest is not received from Small Business concerns, the will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Please list any previous experience in Block 4 of the form that is similar in nature to this scope of work.
