This project consists of removing some interior walls, enclosing some existing door and interior window openings, constructing some new interior walls and making modifications to the HVAC and electrical systems for the spaces created. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. In order to be considered responsive, the contractor and all subcontractors will need to comply with City Ordinance 08-2023 which was passed in April of 2023. A copy of the Ordinance 08-2023 is included in the attachment list. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid and any Alternatives that are accepted. Final Completion for the project: October 31, 2025 All questions must be asked on online website so that the question and answers are visible to all potential bidders. Question Deadline 05/12/2025 at 10:00 AM ET The Bidder acknowledges that 1) they have not received nor relied upon any representations or warranties of any nature whatsoever from the Owner, its officers, employees, or agents; 2) they are responsible for verifying the current prevailing wage rates and requirements according to Chapter 4114 of the Ohio Revised Code; 3) upon contract award, they will be required to sign an affidavit indicating whether or not they have delinquent personal property taxes on the General Tax List of Personal Property of Wood County, Ohio, in accordance with Section 5719.042 of the Ohio Revised Code. In submitting this Bid, it is understood it may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, but that the Bidder may not withdraw its Bid after the actual opening thereof. On acceptance of this Bid, the Bidder does hereby bind itself to enter into a written contract with the Owner within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award and give a Surety Bond amounting to 100% of the Contract.
