Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Avon Grove School District will receive sealed proposals for the following project: Mechanical Upgrades at the Penn London Elementary School, Intermediate School, and District Administration The Work shall be performed under two prime contracts, HVAC Contract and Electrical Contract. In general, the work consists of replacement of air-cooled chillers, hotwater boilers, pumps, air handling units, air terminal units, and unit heaters. Upon receipt of payment, the Bidder will be registered and an email will be sent to the bidder's contact person with instructions for accessing the bidding documents, including official bid form(s). Contact Kerry Hannon at general@cemec.comor 610-916-1900 for additional information Prospective bidders are advised that the work to be performed is subject to and governed by the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act including all amendments and supplements. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate and on forms included in the bid documents. Proposals submitted on forms other than those provided may be rejected. Proposals are to be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope, addressed to the Owner, identified with the Projectname. Proposals are to include the following: 1. A certified check, bank cashier's check, or a bid bond on the forms included in the contract documents, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid as indicated in paragraph 4.3.1, Instructions to Bidders. 2. A Contractor's Qualifications Statement and a Non-collusion Affidavit as indicated in paragraph 4.3.3, Instructions to Bidders. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. The cost of the Bonds shall be included in the bid amount. All Bids will be effective for a period of 60 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any irregularities or technicalities in any bid, and to make awards in the best interest of the School District.
