As of June 18, 2025, the project was awarded to Irwin Seating, with an awarded amount of $147,775.51. Sealed Bids will be received by the Community Unit School District #4, Mendon, Adams County, Illinois for installation of the following: REPLACE TELESCOPIC GYMNASIUM BLEACHERS UNITY MIDDLE SCHOOL Technical questions regarding interpretations of the bidding documents shall be directed to Michael Carter of Klingner & Associates PC at hmc@klingenr.com and NOT City Blue Technologies. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the sum of 5% of the total base bid A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Community School District #4 equal to this amount will be an acceptable Bid Bond. THE BOARD OF EDUCATION IS NOT OBLIGATED TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST DOLLAR BID AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS OR TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITIES, IRREGULARITIES, TECHNICALITIES, OR DE-FECTS IN ANY BID SHOULD THE BOARD DEEM IT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO DO SO. Awards, if made, will be made within sixty (60) days following the opening of these bids. All work on this project must be completed on or before 8/22/2025.
