47812 CONSTRUCTION Job Order Contracting - Area 2 Location/Physical Address Service Contract Design and Construction GNARESP Corning Tower Albany, NY 12242 County: Statewide MBE Goal: 15% WBE Goal: 15% SDVOB Goal: 3% Estimated Cost: $2,000,000 - $3,000,000 Bid Deposit: $25,000.00 General Contract Description: A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform a series of individual construction projects at different locations within the Geographic Contract Area. The Bid Documents include a Construction Task Catalog_ (CTC) which contains a group of construction Tasks with pre-established unit prices and corresponding Technical Specifications. The Contractor will bid Adjustment Factors to be applied to the unit prices. The Job Order Contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents. Thereafter, as projects are identified the Contractor will attend a Joint Scope Meeting with the State. The State will prepare a draft Detailed Scope of Work and send it the Contractor for review. Once the Detailed Scope of Work is approved by both the Contractor and the State it is finalized. The State will issue a Request for Proposal to the Contractor. The Contractor will then prepare a Price Proposal Package for the Project including a Price Proposal, a list of subcontractors and suppliers, construction schedule, MWBE Utilization and other requested documentation. The Price Proposal shall be calculated by summing the total of the calculation for each Pre-Priced Task (Unit Price x Quantity x Adjustment Factor) plus the value of all Non Pre-Priced Tasks. The total amount of the approved Price Proposal will be the Job Order Amount. If the Price Proposal Package is found to be complete and reasonable, a Job Order may be issued. The Job Order will require the Contractor to complete the Detailed Scope of Work for the Job Order Amount within the Job Order Completion Time. A Job Order will reference the Detailed Scope of Work and set forth the Job Order Completion Time, and the Job Order Amount. The Job Order Amount shall be a lump sum, fixed price for the completion of the Detailed Scope of Work. A separate Job Order will be issued for each Project. Extra work, credits, and deletions will be contained in a Supplemental Job Order *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
