The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all tasks necessary to complete the sidewalk replacement in a thorough and satisfactory manner, unless specifically noted as excluded. All work must be carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following services: o Sidewalk Replacement: Remove and replace approximately 7,700 square feet of 4-inch thick concrete sidewalk with thickened edges along Putnam Street, including the two sidewalk sections that serve the front porch. Concrete must have a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 PSI and be finished with a broom-swept surface to ensure slip resistance and uniformity. o Step Repairs: Repair the concrete steps at the front entrance and the south lawn entrance. This includes removal of damaged areas, preparation of the surfaces, and restoration to a safe, structurally sound condition. o Parking Lot Repair: Repair the damaged concrete at the corner of the east parking lot exit to restore full functionality and maintain safety. o Sidewalk Slab Replacement: Remove and replace one sidewalk slab ("lite") located at the northwest sidewalk area. o Measurement Verification: The Contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements and quantities prior to beginning work. o Code Compliance: All work shall be performed in accordance with the Michigan Building Code and all applicable regulations, codes, and ordinances as enforced by the City of Detroit.
