This project is funded in whole or in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania or a Certified Check made to the order of Apollo Borough in an amount equal to ten percent of the total amount of the Bid Proposal. No Bid Bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans specifications or any applicable statues of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any municipal ordinances. Apollo Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the Bid Proposals received and bidding procedure. No Bid Proposal shall be withdrawn within sixty calendar days after the scheduled bid opening date. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are required to be paid on his contract. Notice is hereby given that the bituminous price index in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 is applicable for the Contract. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 . Any interpretation or correction of the documents will be made only by duly issued Addendum and a copy of the Addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person who received a set of the Contract documents. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the Contract Documents.requests for interpretation must be received by the Engineer at least five (5) days before the date set for bid opening.
