The renovation of a 2-story building, including plumbing, electrical, and structural 2. According to the designed plans Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, for 100% of the contract amount, with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. Requests for payments are due by the Fifth (5th) of the month for the payment by the Twentieth (20th) of the month less 10% retainage. Retainage will be held until final acceptance of the project by the City of Hiram Operations Manager. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and re advertise.
