Mille Lacs Indian Museum HVAC Replacement The goal of this project is to update the Mille Lacs Indian Museum Variable Air Volume (VAV), multiple zone HVAC system to bring the components to code and enable the system to function effectively. This work includes but is not limited to the following: - Remove and replace chiller and roof-mounted mechanical units. - Remove and replace EPDM roofing system at sunken roof that houses mechanical units. - Abandon below-floor HVAC supply ductwork and fill with controlled low strength concrete. Work to include the minimal installation of new flooring in affected areas. - Modify existing and install new overhead ductwork to accommodate supply and return air for zone 1. Work to include modifications to the walls, ceilings, soffits, and associated material in affected areas. - Replace HVAC controls in the Museum and Ayers House. - Perform manual verification tests in coordination with the Commissioning Agent. - Coordinate and carry out training on how to use the updated HVAC system for site staff. - Comply with all site access and environmental limitations to ensure the safety of collection items housed within the Gallery and Storage areas.
