Site work for a water / sewer project in Palmetto, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace approximately 660 L.F. of an existing 2" water service with a new 6" DIP water main. The project will also include three Inserta Valves, and a new Fire Hydrant. This is a CDBG project, and associated bidding requirements will apply. For any technical questions, contact Cary Dial. P.E. or Matt Ivester. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00 21 13 "Instruction to Bidders." The project shall be Substantially Complete within 30 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $100 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $100 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Final Completion. The contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder with reservation of right to reject all bids.
