Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palmetto, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
** As of May 20,2026, project is on hold until further review. No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Palmetto is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to install sidewalks, rework storm drains, and relocate water meters, hydrants, and power poles on Church Street (to Anna Avenue), Center Street, and Phipps Road. The project requires cost totals listed separately for each of the three sections and a grand total. Bidders must include all relevant licenses or certifications. The project timeline must be provided in three sections and as a lump sum. References for similar projects are required. Instructions to bidders: Proposals must be submitted in four hard copies and one electronic copy. All questions must be submitted in writing. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, most responsible, and best bidder. Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and may be required to attend a pre-bid conference. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make the award in its best interest. Contract validity is contingent on the availability of appropriated funds.
