The envelope containing the bid must be sealed, addressed to the Town Clerk at the above address and shall be designated as: "DPW 2025-02 Purchase and Installation of Highway Maintenance Materials" Each bidder shall submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of the bid. The original bid may be clipped but should not be stapled or bound. A signed Non-Collusive Bidding Certification, Certification of Compliance with the Iranian Divestment Act, and Sexual Harassment Written Policy & Training Certification must accompany each bid submitted. Successful bidders may be required to furnish a Surety Bond acceptable to the Town that guarantees the faithful performance of the awarded contract(s). The Town Board of the Town of New Castle reserves the right to waive what it deems to be informalities relating to a specific bid, to waive what it deems to be technical defects, irregularities and omissions relating to a specific bid, to reject any or all bids, to request additional information from any bidder, to re-advertise for new bids or to accept the whole or part of any bid which in the opinion of the Town Board is in the best interest of the Town of New Castle.
