Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project entails the installation of a fine bubble diffuser system incorporating low pressure EPDM membrane disc diffusers in the existing aeration basins 1 and 2 at the SR16 WWTP, with each basin being equipped with a grid system that includes a minimum of 800 diffusers. The diffuser system for each basin will feature an upper drop leg made of 304L stainless steel, a lower drop leg of Schedule 40 PVC, and a manifold along with a purge system also constructed from Schedule 40 PVC. Additionally, air distributors with holders will be made of SDR 33.5 PVC, complementing the EPDM low pressure membrane disc diffusers. All supports, nuts, bolts, and anchors will be composed of 304 stainless steel. The manufacturer/vendor is responsible for supplying and delivering all necessary equipment for a fully operational aeration transfer system, which includes the complete installation of the new system, the removal of existing aeration systems, provision of certified oxygen transfer efficiency curves from prior testing, testing of the pressure monitoring system, and any required upgrades to instrumentation and monitoring equipment, including SCADA monitoring, to ensure full operational capability.
