The County is seeking bids from qualified Vendors to contract for Wall repair & specific area painting - "Old" courthouse. Wicomico County is seeking electronic sealed bids from qualified Vendors, through the Wicomico County eProcurement Portal located at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wicomicocounty, for wall repairs and specific area painting at the courthouse. Question Deadline 05/22/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid, via online. All answers to inquiries will be posted on online Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of the solicitation. A. All loose and/or chipping plaster and paint shall be removed back to solid, bonded condition. Plaster Repairs shall be made with DuraBond 90, per manufacturer's instructions, or equivalent. Repairs shall blend to surrounding wall surface. B. All holes & voids in wall surfaces will be properly patched, spackled and sanded smooth with surrounding wall surface. Wet sanding is recommended as possible. C. All new electrical metal tubing (EMT), metal junction boxes and exposed spiral metal air ducting shall be cleaned with a proper low odor solvent to remove mill oil/dirt to prepare for priming. D. All surfaces to be painted shall be damp wiped to remove dirt and dust before applying primer or paint. E. All spackling and patches shall be spot primed before topcoat. F. Any and all stained woodwork is exempt from this contract. G. All paint materials shall be stored in an area designated by the county. H. The work area(s) shall be maintained in a neat, clean and orderly fashion daily.
