Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Luverne, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for the addition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

This project includes a base bid that consists of the interior renovation of the main floor of the old armory with limited renovation of the lower and upper floors. An Alternate Bid will be taken for a metal building addition to the east side of the existing building. Work includes limited interior demolition, build out systems including walls, fixtures, specialties, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and all work as shown on the bid documents dated April 28, 2025. This Advertisement for Bids does not commit the Owner to award a contract, nor to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of bid(s) or to procure supplies. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities and to re-advertise when it is in their best interest. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid and any and all add alternates and drawn on a State or National Bank or a 10% bid bond issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota and made payable to Rock County, Luverne, MN. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the amount of the Contract Award. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of the bids without the consent of the Owner.
