As of 5/28/25 and per Addendum 1, the bid date period has been extended by one week. The revised bid date is June 5, 2025. The work is separated into four prime bids (General Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC) and, in general, involves alterations to the Lower Level of the building for occupancy by the Homer Police Department and the Community Room. Domestic Water Connection: The Town shall be responsible for any upgrades to the domestic water service entering from the street through the exterior building wall to just within the work area. 2. Fire/Smoke Detection & Alarm: The Town will contract directly with a local entity for removal of existing system components in the work area and installation of new. 3. Telephone & Communications: The Town will contract directly with a local entity. for removal of existing telephone & communications systems in the work area. 4. Furnishings and Building Contents: The Town shall be responsible for removing the building contents from within the work area before the start of construction. CONTRACT GC: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Base Scope: The work of this contract generally includes all materials and labor for the following: a. All general construction work described by the drawings and specifications except that specifically to be executed by the Owner or other prime contractors. b. Note miscellaneous coordination responsibilities per Instructions to Bidders and sequencing coordination above. c.
