Reference Number 0000400634 Summary of Work for the following: 1. General Construction, Contract No. 1G ("General Contractor") 2. Electrical, Contract No. 1E ("Electrical Contractor") 3. Plumbing/Fire Protection Contract No. 1P ("Plumbing Contractor") 4. HVAC Contract No. 1H ("HVAC Contractor") 5. Fire Protection Contract No 1F ("Fire Protection Contractor") LOCATION OF WORK A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to build, in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and in these Specifications, the Project. Each Contractor's scope of Work will include, but is not limited to, all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, shop drawings, submittals, layout, unloading, scaffolding, ladders, hoisting, transportation, permits, engineering, support functions, insurance, bonds and any other items or services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the proper execution and completion the Work, whether temporary or permanent, in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, General Conditions, and all other related requirements, as indicated in the Contract Documents. Question Acceptance Deadline 10/21/2025 03:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 10 % - Payment Bond 100 % Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Question Deadline 10/21/2025 at 3:00 PM ET All such reports, requests for information, questions, etc. shall be on the "Questions Form" provided in this RFB and either faxed to the Department of General Services at (845) 378- 2365 or emailed on the Questions form to GeneralServices@orangecountygov.com 1. The Work in this Contract consists of all Work required to complete the Project except for Work which has been specifically assigned to another Contractor. a. This Contract includes all Work specified in Divisions 00,01,02,03,04,06,07,08,09,10,12,22,23,26, and 28. Including all other Plans and/or Specification that require General Construction Work including this Section 01 0100 "Summary of Work". 2. All Site Work including, but not limited to, installation and maintenance of all soil erosion control measures, Site demolition, excavation and dewatering, installation of new drainage structures, all underground utilities not installed by other Contractors, storm and sewer drainage systems; Site grading, paving, bridges, permanent fences and gates, sidewalks, landscaping and Site accessories. a. The General Construction Contractor is to furnish and install ALL Bollards. 3. The General Construction Contractor must use an Electrician who has an Orange County Electrical License, if required to perform the Work included in the General Contract. 4. The General Construction Contractor shall be responsible for Restoration of areas disturbed by all Contractors. 5. The General Contractor is required to install the concrete floor patching of trenches cut by other trades. The other trades are required to provide their own excavation, backfill and compaction of trenches required by their Work. General Contractor is to provide fine grading of subgrade and installation, per Contract Documents, of the concrete floor. 8. The General Construction Contractor is to provide all structural Work, architectural Work and finishes, and coordinate the Work with other Contractorsforthe installation of their Contract Work. 9. Furnish, install, maintain, and remove all temporary fencing; safe egress; barricades; ADA parking striping; plywood safety partitions; vehicle entry gates; manpower and pedestrian traffic gates; sidewalks; doors; construction and safety signage; warning signage; egress signage; public and traffic directional signage; snow fencing; erosion fencing; truck tire cleaning track; ramps; stairs; safety netting; ladders; handrails; safety railings and cables; rebar caps; debris chutes; emergency exits; fire suppression equipment; opening protection for all trades; Site security; and rubbish and debris containers (which shall be maintained throughout the duration of the Project). The General Contractor acceptsresponsibility to maintain all building related safety barricades, edge protection, safety railings and Site perimeter fencing and gates. 10. Provide for the removal of all temporary Work installed by the General Contractor, including but not limited to fencing, cutting, capping, removal and patching of water, sewer and storm connections, poles, barriers, and ramp. 11. The General Contractorshallreturn all areas affected by the Project, before Substantial Completion, whether permanent or temporary, to their original state and/or pre-existing condition including but not limited to parking, sidewalks, grassy areas, landscaping, Site furnishings and existing structures. 12. Install all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) furnished equipment in accordance with and/or as shown in the Contract Documents. 13. It is the responsibility of the General Contractor to coordinate all points of entry through the foundations, slab penetrations, sleeves, roof openings and penetrations, wall openings and penetrations, etc. with the Work of all other Contractors. 14. The General Contractor must provide certified receipts for the legal disposal of all soils, debris and hazardous materials removed from the Site. 15. The General Contractorshall be responsible for daily cleaning of the Construction Manager's trailer and/or office as required by the Construction Manager. 16. The General Contractor shall remove all stabilization gravel/subgrade protection materials and filter fabric from the Site at the completion of exterior Work and restore areas below. Location- 41 Grove St. Montgomery, NY 12549 Substantial Completion Date shall be no later than 170 calendar days after Notice to Proceed and Final Completion Date shall be no later 30 calendar days after Substantial completion
