Bid Band or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Cedar County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (a) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder isto include an estimated completion date with their Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is December31, 2025. The roadway may not be closed between September 1, 2025through October 31, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor)will be allowed sixty (60) calendar days for completion of the site after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety Bondor bonds in an amount equal to orgreater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Cedar County Board of Commissioners. TheCedarCounty Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. The project site is located on 897Road between 557 Avenue and 558Avenue, in Cedar County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "South Yankton South, C-14(858)"and shall include all labor, materials,transportation,andequipmentrequired to construct triple 12' x 10'x 42' concrete box culvert on a 10-deg. skew (rhb), and other incidentalwork.
