work including the following estimated quantities and appurtenances: o 8" Water Main 186 LF o Water Main Interconnection 2 EA o Water Service Replacements 1 EA Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be drawn payable to City of East Tawas as security for the acceptance of the Contract and subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of East Tawas reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or errors in the bidding process, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, including bids that are not for the lowest amount.
