The project involves the Addition & Alterations to Baxel Hall for the Union County Vocational-Technical Schools. Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope, which should include their name and address, and the title and number of the project. Bidders are required to be classified by the State of NJ, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) under classification #C008 or #C009 and fulfill other documentary requirements as set forth in the instructions. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent of the total bid amount (not to exceed $20,000). All contractors must have a valid and current New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate at the time the bid is submitted. Failure to comply with the Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms will result in disqualification and rejection of the bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions.
