Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Furnish and install thirty-two (32) casement units or sixteen (16) pairs of casement units. Add Alternates #1 replace an additional 32 (16) pairs of operable casement windows. Add alternate #2 replace and additional 100 (50 pairs) of operable casement windows The work will consist of the following components: 1. Remove existing casement windows flanking a center-fixed picture window and replace with new thermally broken aluminum outswing casement windows. 2. Window Type: Aluminum commercial rated, thermally broken, case- ment window with crank handle operation and lever lock. Screens are to be provided for all units. Windows are to be Kynar (or equal) painted in a color selected by the owner. These bids are being solicited through a Fair and Open process in accordance with N.J.S.A.19:44A-2O.4 et.seq. Detailed instructions to bidders and summary of work are available at the site. This is a HUD funded project. Prevailing wage rates apply. Respondents are required to comply with all Affirmative Action requirements.
