All questions submitted will be answered on The Office of Contracting and Procurement website. Question Deadline 05/13/2025 All questions must be submitted via email to bids@rowan.edu A. Services will include, but is not limited to, the Glassboro and Camden campus. A list of current inventories is attached below, however additional units may be added as operations change throughout the organization. Repairs will be limited to the units themselves as any related building systems would be the responsibility of Rowan University Facilities Operations. B. All safety shower and eyewash units shall be tested and certified using the applicable federal, state, and local standards, such as ANSI Z358.1. C. Vendors will be expected to produce inspection and/or testing reports withing 14 days of completion. Documentation of any corrective repairs shall be itemized and submitted within 14 days of completion. Invoices shall be submitted within 30 days of the date of service. D. Vendors should submit a proposal that includes pricing for quarterly testing and certification of the current inventory as well as a per diem rate for any additional showers or eyewashes that are added later. E. Vendors should submit hourly rates for repair technicians and supervisors that include regular time, overtime, weekends, and holidays. F. Expected response times ( emergent and non-emergent). G. Expected inventory (subject to change). 1. Total Stations: 183 a. Shower units: 86 b. Eyewash units: 16 c. Combo units: 81 H. Emergency Response: The awarded contractor(s) shall respond within one (1) hour to all emergency service calls. A list of personnel authorized to make emergency services calls will be given to the successful 6 contractor. A response is defined as the contractor ensuring that employees are enroute and can provide an estimated time of arrival. Non-emergent Response: The awarded contractor(s) shall respond within four (4) hours to all non-emergent service calls. A response shall be defined as returning the call and informing when service can be addressed.
