Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockwall, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Reconstruction will include approximately 11,000 square yards of roadway concrete pavement, 1,000 square yards of alley/driveway concrete pavement, 5,000 linear feet of sidewalk, 2,600 linear feet of storm drain (18-inch dia. to 54-inch dia.), 3,000 linear feet of water line (8-inch dia. to 16-inch dia.), 1,200 linear feet of sanitary sewer (8-inch dia.), replacement of parkway landscaping, traffic control and maintenance. The Bid shall be submitted on the form provided in the Bid Documents. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City.
