Reference number: 20068795 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-05-22 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 5 The Town of Acton Vale is uesting s for the replacement of the Town Hall generator. This work includes, but is not limited to: a) Dismantling the existing generator, the existing transfer switch and the feeder and control cables between the generator and the switch; b) The handover of the generator set and switch to the Owner. The Owner will designate a location, within the city limits of Acton Vale, to deposit the generator and switch; c) Relocation of two connections (120/240-volt, single-phase electrical input and 347/600-volt, three-phase electrical input); d) Modification of both 120/240 volt and 347/600 volt inputs; e) Supply, installation, connection and commissioning of a new generator outside the building, a new 347/600 volt automatic transfer switch, trench feeder and control cables; f) The supply, installation, connection and certification of fire detection and alarm supervision devices for the generator set and transfer switch; g) Construction of a concrete slab for the new generator; h) Replacement of distribution panels and branches: transfer of existing loads to new panels, new feeders. As well as miscellaneous connection, patching and other work, all as follows To be valid, all s must be accompanied by a deposit or bond equal to 10% of the total . The deposit must be made in the form of a certified check drawn on a Canadian chartered bank or credit union. The deposit or bond must be accompanied by a letter of undertaking to issue a performance bond and a wage, material and service bond, each for 50% of the total . All bonds must be made out in the owner's name and are conditionally refundable.
