Project has been cancelled. The Solano County General Services Department - Facilities Unit seeks vendors to deliver scheduled and on-demand inspection, maintenance, and repair services for its automatic pedestrian doors across various County facilities. The selected contractor shall ensure the doors remain fully operational, comply with current safety standards, and are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Project has been cancelled. Question Submission Deadline: May 23, 2025, 5:00pm - Question Response Deadline: May 29, 2025, 5:00pm. The Contractor(s) shall provide comprehensive Automatic Door Services as outlined below: Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and services required to perform Automatic Door Servicing to the County as specified herein. Provide scheduled maintenance for automatic pedestrian doors at various facility locations within the County of Solano. Kindly note that the number of facilities is subject to change should the County acquire additional properties. Services will be provided at 13 locations, ranging from Vallejo, Suisun, Fairfield, Vacaville and Winters CA, consisting of 21 doors. Please see Attachments A and B and Pricing Proposal (Section 7) for detailed location information. Ensure doors are operational, compliant with current safety standards, and maintained in accordance with manufacturer and industry best practices. If needed, provide quote(s) for any repairs or upgrades to the existing equipment. All door servicing must be performed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, while both emergency and non-emergency services may be carried out 24/7 as needed. Ensure that all door service orders are accurately confirmed, efficiently processed, and invoiced in a timely manner to ensure the continuity and efficiency of business operations. The term of the resulting contract(s) will begin on or about 7/1/2025, and terminate on 6/30/2026.The County reserves the right to award a one-year contract through this IFB, which may be renegotiated and/or renewed/extended, subject to contractor performance and continued funding, for two additional one-year terms without a competitive bid process, representing a total contract term of no more than three (3) years at the sole discretion of the County, provided the County notifies the Contractor in writing of its intention to do so at least thirty (30) days prior to the contract expiration date. Price adjustment may be negotiated prior to the beginning of a contract extension year. Any proposed price adjustment shall be submitted to the County in writing at least ninety (90) days prior to contract anniversary date and if approved, will be effective on that date for the subsequent contract period. The contractor must hold all necessary and applicable insurance, as well as all business and professional licenses. The County may require any or all contractors to submit evidence of proper documents. The County reserves the right to refuse, at its sole discretion, any subcontractors or any personnel provided by the prime contractor or its subcontractors that fails to submit to screening or for any other reason that is in the best interest of the County.
