Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wausau, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Texas is accepting sealed bids for the grinding, compacting with a sheep foot roller, finish grading and blacktopping of Green Valley Road from County Road WW to Buffalo Ridge Road being approximately 1.75 miles. The Town is requesting a bid for a 4" thick compacted Finish thickness in Two layers. Blacktop width of 22 Feet with a minimum of 2.25" binder layer of 3 MT mix and a minimum of 1.75" of surface layer mix of 4 MT. This is a TRIS funded project and shall follow the guidelines of the LRIP program. All work shall be completed in accordance with Wisconsin DOT specifications. A certificate of Engineering stamp is required on completion of the project. A separate bid to pave 100' of Behnke Road intersection 22' wide plus radiuses and a finish thickness of 2.5" starting at Green Valley Road and proceeding north. Completion date of project September 1, 2025. The Town of Texas reserves the right to reduce the total tonnage of the bid. The Town of Texas reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid proposal or portion of the bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
