Project Information Contract 1............................. Baseball Backstop and Fence Improvements BASE BID Backstop, Fence and Gates along 1st and 3rd base line. All Labor rates shall be PA Prevailing Wage per the Labor Law Compliance Report. Use the narrative provided below in cooperation with the plan view and elevation view photos with markups. Use Bid Form provided. Remove/Dispose of existing 8' and 4' fence and gates to approximate limit shown (close to 80', or close to 160' total). Furnish and Install approx. 80' (close to 160', total) of new of 8'h 9ga galv. KK using 21/2" SS40 terminal posts, 2" SS40 line posts, and 1 5/8" top, bottom, and mid rail to include 2: 3'w gate (for a total of 4 gates). Remove/Dispose of existing backstop fence and posts. Properly infill holes for a complete job. Install new backstop using 8'h 9 ga galv. KK and 6'h 9ga galv. KK with 3" SS40 posts, 2" SS20 posts, 1 5/8" top rail and backstop angles. Install seven (7) - folding backstop pads (like manuf. Beam Clay #BSP 2X) 2'H x 8'L x 2". Relocate and re-install the yellow top-rail pads on the existing fence after the new (8') fencing is installed. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
