The Town of Penfield Department of Public Works is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to resurface two tennis/pickleball courts and one basketball court located at Greenwood Park in the Town ofPenfield (1550 Scribner Rd, Penfield, NY). The project will require the contractor to prepare the existing surface of the tennis and basketball courts, repair any cracks, fill in low areas, and reapply a new surface material. The area to be resurfaced is approximately 22,000 square feet and the total length of cracks to be filled has been estimated to be approximately 460 linear feet. The purpose of this project is to provide a new playing surface for the basketball court and new playing surfaces for both tennis/pickleball courts, with new nets and posts. The work involved must restore the area to a safe and like-new appearance. All materials and supplies required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.
