Site work for a water / sewer project in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing two new water main lines and a single sanitary sewer service for development of the Nebraska State Penitentiary situated northeast of the North 70th Street and I-80 interchange in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 12-inch water main will generally run 1.35 miles along the north side of I-80 from the west side of Highway 77 (56th Street) to 70th Street before turning north along the west side of 70th Street for 0.2 miles. The 16-inch water main will run 0.5 mile along the east side of 70th Street between Arbor Road and McKelvie Road. The 15-inch sanitary sewer will run 0.1 miles along the east side of 70 th Street to the south of Arbor Road and then run east through adjacent fields for 0.55 miles. It will then turn north for 0.5 mile to the north side of I-80. Questions concerning this bid process may be directed to City/County Purchasing at (402) 441-8103 or purchasing@lincoln.ne.gov . This pre-bid meeting will review City of Lincoln projects Lincoln Correctional Facility Interstate Off-Site Improvements Transportation Paving Project No. 702595, Bid 25-116 Lincoln Correctional Facility Interstate Off-Site Improvements Water Main Project No. 702590, and Lincoln Correctional Facility Interstate Off-Site Improvements Sanitary Sewer Project No. 702600. Bidders must be registered on the City/County's E-Bid site in order to respond to the above Bid. Question Deadline 05/29/2025 at 2:00 PM CT
