Renovation of a library in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 45,111-square-foot, two-story above grade library.
Construction of alterations to the ground floor of Ramsey Library to move existing acoustical modular practice rooms (Wenger Units) from the ground floor of Lipinsky Hall to Ramsey and moving the speaker frame and acoustical room treatment from the mixing room of Lipinsky Hall to the ground floor of Ramsey Library and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for alterations to the ground floor of Ramsey Library to move existing acoustical modular practice rooms (Wenger Units) from the ground floor of Lipinsky Hall to Ramsey. Also includes moving the speaker frame and acoustical room treatment from the mixing room of Lipinsky Hall to the ground floor of Ramsey Library and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a Single Prime contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities.
