This Sources Sought Notice is for the Asheville Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) to determine sources for Veeder-Root Wire and Conduit Replacement. The Veeder-Root Wire and Conduit Replacement will require running new conduit from the old boiler room to the Veeder Root and pull new communication wire (shielded) to unit to bypass wiring that is currently present. The current wire is picking up noise that is creating a buzzing, this is causing the sensor to alarm periodically throughout the day. Performance Required: All work will be accomplished to industry standards and compliant with all current CODE requirements (Life Safety, NFPA, Electrical and Building). All Dept. of Veteran Affairs, Federal, and State regulations and codes will be complied with. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing its capabilities, capacity, and location which shall be considered by the agency. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
