The proposed contract requires the mechanical site preparation of approximately 147.8 hectares across 12 cutblocks located in 7 operating areas in the North Zone of the Okanagan Columbia Business Area. Treatments are to include screefing, stumping, and trenching (optional). The contract will require a 38,000 to 45,000 lb. minimum size excavator with a rake, with at least 20cm front tines, a bucket and a hydraulic thumb. Trenching is to be done by attachment pulled by D7 Cat dozer or equivalent machine approved by contract coordinator. Not pulled by a skidder. Contract deliverables must be delivered prior to October 31, 2025. See the Schedule A Services for specific works required.
