Project value Between $100,000 to $120,000 The City of Sierra Vista is seeking qualified contractors proposals to repair and/or replace deteriorating sections of asphaltic concrete path along the entire length of the pathways at Len Roberts Park, located at 101 Theater Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona. Qualified contractors are asked to provide a plan to repair sections or replace as needed based on their assessment of the conditions of the path. Funds are tied to the City's fiscal year, so all work must be performed on or before June 30, 2025. The City expects to make and award to the highest ranked proposal based on a set of pre-determined criteria as set forth in this RFP. The 8 ft. wide, 2,300 linear ft. walking path needs repairs and replacement along the path route. Contractor is to remove and replace or repair 8' wide path as needed and outlined in submitted work plan. Removal may include roots from trees which are causing damage to protect from further damage to new asphalt. Materials used must be of the same quality as the existing path. Contractor to replace any damage to irrigation lines damaged during construction. City will blue stake irrigation lines to best of our ability. Any tree deemed unsafe before or after root removal will be the city's responsibility to remove. Areas of grass and or decomposed granite placed back to original condition and grade after construction. Debris from construction will be hauled away by contractor. A non-mandatory site visit has been set up for the purpose of assessing the site conditions and asking clarifying questions on the scope of work. The contractor is tasked with evaluation of the area and to submit a site plan for repairs and/or replacement area(s), pricing, and warranty information for path replacement. All work must be completed prior to June 30 th , 2025, and invoiced no later than July 10, 2025. Len Roberts currently has: o (10) 2" sprinkler valves with 1" to 3/4" lateral lines and about 70 rainbird 8005 sprinkler heads o (5) 1" drip line valves with 3/4" poly to trees and shrubs. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
