The New Trier Township High School District 203 Board of Education is accepting bids only from masonry contractors for a masonry renovation project at their high school in Winnetka, Illinois. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: brick masonry repair, brick masonry repointing, and joint sealants. The work site is located at 385 Winnetka Avenue, Winnetka, IL 60093. The on-site construction is scheduled to commence during the districts 2025 summer break starting approximately on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, with a Substantial Completion date of Friday, August 15, 2025. Liquidated damages apply to the Substantial Completion date. Required prequalification documentation must be submitted in Adobe PDF format to the district's Architect via the email address listed above on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, May 22, 2025. A Bidder's failure to submit the required prequalification documentation may be considered grounds for rejection of the Contractor's bid. It is anticipated that the contracts will be awarded by the Board of Education at the regular meeting on Monday, June 2, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid made payable to New Trier Township High School District 203. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the date of Bid Opening. The Contractor will be required to submit electronic copies of their certified payrolls related to each application for payment using the Illinois Department of Labor's Prevailing Wage Portal. The New Trier Township High School District 203 Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District.
