Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Davis, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources to establish a contract for repairs and improvements to approximately two (2) miles of existing and new hiking trails including construction of boardwalk and a viewing station located at Canaan Valley Resort State Park per the attached specifications and terms and conditions. 1. Bubbling Springs Trail: Construction of a new accessible trail will include grade-level aggregate trail, puncheon trail, boardwalks, ramps, an observation deck, asphalt parking, and a kiosk. This new trail will utilize some existing trail alignment and will require some new trail alignments in woodland areas. 2. Middle Run Connector Trail: Construction of a new grade-level aggregate and asphalt trail through a wooded area that will connect the lodge area to parking area. This trail includes the installation of precast concrete timber steps, and a custom kiosk. 3. Deer Run Connector Trail: Construction of a new trail that will connect the lodge area to an existing trail below. This will include concrete trail next to the lodge and aggregate trail. A modular block retaining wall will be constructed along the concrete trail. Landscaping in included at the retaining wall. This trail includes the installation of precast concrete timber steps, a custom kiosk, and a culvert work. 4. Abe Run Trail Repairs: Renovation of an existing trail. Includes the removal and replacement of the existing puncheon and boardwalk trail components, and aggregate trail rehabilitation. 5. Deer Run Trail Repairs: Renovation of an existing trail. Includes the removal and replacement of the existing puncheon and boardwalk trail components, and aggregate trail rehabilitation. Also include the construction of a small parking lot and a kiosk.
