Site work for a water / sewer project in Davis, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Equipment: Procurement of a complete cellular Advanced Meter Infrastructure System for approximately 450 customers. including meters and meter reading equipment. This project is for the purchase, delivery, and commissioning only. This Contract does not include installation. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Water Meter Replacement The Equipment will be substantially completed within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 210 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $250 per day. A Bidder may not withdrawal his bid for a period of 90 days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Canaan Valley Public Service District in an amount equal to five (5%) of the base bid. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. DBE Requirements - Each Bidder must fully Comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and Affirmative Action Requirements, as identified in the contract documents. The Bidder agrees to make "positive efforts" to subcontract a portion of the total value of the contract to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. This shall be done in compliance with the six (6) affirmative steps as outlined in 40 CFR 33.240. Failure to demonstrate positive efforts to do so may lead to rejection of bids. ** bid date info : A two envelope system will be used. Envelope No. I will be opened first and The Bid Opening Requirements items checked for compliance as outlined on the Bid Opening Checklist on page BOR-I of these contract documents.
