The Town of Glenville is soliciting proposals for the procurement and delivery of new well pumps for Wells #2 and #3 per the contract documents. Information to Bidders: The Lump Sum bid price shall include all costs for delivery, equipment, startup, and coordination with installing contractors for startup, training, and testing The pumps conforming to these specifications have been identified as Model 14RHHC manufactured by Goulds Water Technology. All "or equals" must be submitted for approval a week prior to the bid due date of May 27, 2025 Terms and Conditions: Quotations shall be firm for 60-days after the Bid Opening date. The Town of Glenville will provide a Tax-Exempt certificate to the supplier. Award will be to the lowest responsible and responsive proposal. The intent is for the well pumps to be delivered and installed by October 2025. Provide your standard conditions with the proposal to be reviewed. A minimum one-year warranty for all equipment, effective on the day of successful equipment startup shall be provided. Project Summary / Scope of work: The Town of Glenville is soliciting proposals for the procurement and delivery of new pumps for Well #2 and #3. This project replaces the existing well pumps to meet the current and future demand. The scope of work for the Well Pumps includes the furnishing and delivery. Startup / commissioning of pumps to be provided along with coordination with the installing contactor and systems integrator. The information for the well pumps are detailed in the Specification Section 11131. The installation of the pumps along with the controls will be under a separate contract. The new pumps will need to be installed on the existing well casings and pedestal. Some modifications can be made by the installing contractor, but the pump manufacturer will need to review the existing conditions and provide recommendations. The pump supplier will be responsible for coordinating delivery, off-loading / cataloging and storing of the material with the Owner and General Contractor at the water treatment plant.
