Renovation of a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Work scope consists of replacing the existing Fire Alarm system with a new system in accordance with the Construction Documents. The Fire Alarm system includes, but is not limited to: Control units, Annunciators, Auxiliary power supplies, Alarm boxes, Detectors, Alarm-initiating devices, Notification appliances, Signal-initiating devices and Fire Alarm cables. The project Work includes Electrical requirements, Hangers and Supports, Conduits, and Identification components. The project Work includes demolition of existing Fire Alarm system and devices after the new Fire Alarm system is installed, tested, approved and operational. The project Work also includes repairs to the building substrate (walls, ceilings, etc.) Questions Due Date: May 19th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT Questions Online Portal The anticipated project timeline includes Notice to Proceed following Board approval in June 2025 followed by preparation and submission of shop drawings and equipment product data submittals If the Contractor achieves Substantial Completion as issued by the Architect by 3:00 PM on July 24, 2025, Include in the Base Bid for Project, an Owner contingency of 10% of the Base Bid amount for changes to the Work as initiated by the Owner and directed by the Architect. Anticipated Award Date: June 26, 2025 The Board reserves all rights to extend or postpone the due date/bid opening without further advertising. Intent to Bid Due Date: May 28th 2025, 1:00 PM EDT
