The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain competitive sealed bids from licensed HVAC Contractors to perform HVAC Systems' service, repair, preventive maintenance, and full maintenance at City of Lynchburg locations to include: Buildings & Grounds, the WRRF, the Water Resources Complex, and the Lynchburg Regional Airport. Only when specifically requested in the bid documents shall each bid be accompanied by a bid bond with surety satisfactory to the City or a Cashier's or a Certified Check, made payable to the City of Lynchburg. In the event of default by the Bidder, the deposit shall be and represent liquidated damages to the City. Bids received without a bid bond, when specifically requested, shall be rejected. Inquiries must be received at least 7 days prior to the due date in order to be considered. All addenda shall be posted to the City's website at least 5 days prior to the bid due date (deadline is June 13, 2025 by 3:00 p.m.) The initial term of this contract shall be September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods.
