Description

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Lynchburg, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide construction engineering and inspection services for project-specific agreement on the Route 501 Bridge and Candlers Mountain Interchange Improvements Project (UPC 119384). This project will be administered by the VDOT Lynchburg District Construction office . The project-specific agreement will consist of providing construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services to supplement VDOT staff during the final plans and construction phases of the project. This is a design-bid-build project administered by the VDOT Lynchburg District Construction Office. VDOT assures compliance with Title VI requirements of nondiscrimination in all activities pursuant to this advertisement. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
