Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; transportation facility; transportation facility; and for the construction of a transportation facility.

As of September 3, 2025 this project does not have plans to move forward with construction. Due to budgetary constraints, all bids for this project were rejected. At this time, there is not plan to rebid this project. This project is located at the Lynchburg Regional Airport, 350 Terminal Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502. The scope of work includes site and building construction services including, but not limited to, installation of; erosion and sediment control measures, storm sewer, water line, sewer line (gravity), expansion of an existing underground stormwater detention facility, contractor designed retaining wall, concrete sidewalk, chain-link fencing, pavement structure (stone & asphalt), and pavement marking. Also design, provide and construct a pre-manufactured 120' x 120' corporate hangar building including 68' x 30' office space based on the owner provide performance specification.
