Renovation of a multi-residential development in Northampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Project consists of: Replacement of shingle roofing, gutters, and downspouts on one single story quadriplex apartment house at 256 State Street, Northampton, MA 01060 No DCAMM certification is required General Bids General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Northampton Housing Authority. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women The work is estimated to cost $49,100 A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Removal and replacement of roof shingles, underlayment, flashing, gutters and downspouts. 2. Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 3. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. Site must be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight. C. Warranties/Guaranties: 1.G.C. warranty for all materials and labor for one year from Substantial Completion. 2. Manufacturer's 40 year pro rata warranty for all materials and labor plus 5 year non-prorata start up warranty for all materials and labor.
