Renovation of a municipal facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of 7/18/2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award was not determined. The Project includes the following Work: Work involves re-roofing the building, interior renovations to reconfigure office space and adding an accessible toilet room. Building construction includes partial demolition including roof tear-off down to the wood deck, new membrane roofing, interior doors, transaction windows, interior partitions, limited millwork, ceilings, flooring, and paint; new LED lighting, security upgrades, two plumbing fixtures and miscellaneous mechanical work to support the new spaces. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond on the form provided, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety (Surety companies must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Pennsylvania), in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements set forth in the plans, specifications or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any applicable municipal ordinances. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a surety company listed on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Pennsylvania. Doc note: All checks should be made payable to Stiffler Architects, LLC. Payment is non-refundable. A $10.00 ($5.00 for Digital) fee for postage and handling will be required for Contract Documents that are mailed to bidders. The Southmont Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
