No definite date for the rebid.** Request for qualifications regarding the construction of new and replacement Supervisory and Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the wastewater collection utility. The project includes instrumentation and controls, panels, programming, and associated wiring and components within the Sanitary District in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Following the review of qualifications, two or three bidders will be invited to provide a proposal for work that can be completed within the budget The purpose of this project is to upgrade and modernize the existing SCADA system and to bring the existing Wastewater sites into a SCADA system for remote monitoring, data trending, and operational reporting. For remote Wastewater sites, cellular streaming data equipment shall be provided to bring the data into the new SCADA system. This will serve as prequalification prior to a request for proposals for associated improvements. The utility has budgeted $600,000 for the first phase of these improvements and is looking to develop a partnership with a systems integration firm that includes quarterly updates on operations, ongoing support, and further improvements over an extended period.
