As of June 04, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 10th Board meeting. Project Timeline: Project should be started no later than November 1, 2025. Date will be coordinated with the School District. Project must be completed by March 30, 2026. Project Description: Chiller Replacement including all materials and labor to disconnect and remove the old and install a new 300-ton variable speed screw chiller at O'Plaine High School Campus in Gurnee, Illinois. This project has been designed by 20/10 Engineering. Please see Attachment G for demolition and installation construction documents. After project award please provide chiller cut sheets within 2 weeks. General Notes: 1. The Contractor is responsible for the removal of demolition and installation debris. 2. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean job site. 3. The Contractor shall take every precaution to protect structures, parking lots and grass from damage. 4. The contractor shall provide the initial start-up and the initial shut-down of the chiller after the cooling season is over. 5. Trane is the Building Automation System (BAS). The Owner shall coordinate between the Contractor and Trane.
