Reference Number 0000387162 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Grand Junction is soliciting competitive bids from qualified and interested Contractors for all labor, equipment, and materials required for Sanitary Sewer Cure-in-Place-Pipe Lining Project. All dimensions and Scope of Work shall be verified by Contractors prior to submission of bids. All contact regarding this IFB is to be directed to: Dolly Daniels; Purchasing Agent dollyd@gjcity.org Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bidder Prequalification/Preregistration Required - Bid Deposit Required - FOB Pre-Paid - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % This Project includes installing cast-in-place-pipe liner in many locations as shown on the Plan Set within the existing in-use sanitary sewer system. An estimation of 15,750 linear feet of sewer main will be lined. There are many locations around the city where this work will occur. Removal of manhole lids, rings and cones will be required. Backfill, road base and hot asphalt paving will be required in the locations where it was removed. Traffic control and sequence of construction will be presented to the city in a scheduled format. All effluent from the curing process will be captured by the contractor. Any byproduct of the curing process will be captured by the contractor. All bypass pumping plans will be presented to the City and will show methods for monitoring and must be manned continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while bypassing is in operation. Remote monitoring will not be an acceptable alternative. A contingent plan for bypass pumping failure will be made and agreed to before any bypass pumping is started. When no longer needed the method of removal of bypass pumping will be presented to the City and once approved will be allowed to turn off pumping and removed. No raw sewer will be allowed to be discharged to the ground of any amount.
