Scope of Services The successful Respondent(s) shall furnish, at their own cost and expense, all personnel, services, tools, vehicles, apparatus, facilities, all utility and transportation services, and equipment or any other materials, necessary to provide as-needed crack sealing, asphalt sealcoating, and surface striping maintenance and repair services on various County operated parking lots, driveways, pathways, walkways, trails, and sport courts Countywide. Services Crack sealing and asphalt sealcoating services shall include, at a minimum: o Cleaning of the surface base and existing cracks in the pavement as necessary with a blower, sweeper, and/or pressure washer o Filling cracks measuring a quarter inch ( 1/4 ") or greater but less than one inch (1") thickness with hot applied crack filler material o Applying sealer to alligator-cracked areas and applying asphalt sealcoating emulsion using power brush squeegees o Where more than one (1) coat of sealcoating emulsion is used, the second coat of material shall be applied in a cross directional manner to the first coat. Surface striping shall include at a minimum, the repair and maintenance of: o Parking stall lines o Handicap stalls o Stencils o Path and trail markings o Symbols o Curbs All materials and application methods shall be in accordance with the current Caltrans Standard Specifications.
