The Town of Edgartown Cemetery Department is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the restoration of gravestones and the repair of monuments at the Old West Side Cemetery, Robinson Road, Edgartown. Bids must include all the required materials and information; the award will be made within fifteen (15) days after the due date. The Town of Edgartown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in its best interest. The Town of Edgartown adheres to all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, including Chapter 30, Section 39M, and Chapter 30B, Section 5, regarding procurement regulations. The Town fully complies with federal, state, and local laws and directives governing equal opportunity, affirmative action, and non-discrimination in all municipal activities. Additionally, the Town actively solicits bids from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) to ensure fair and inclusive participation in procurement opportunities.
